Service 4: Discoverability

Metadata and categories that help readers actually find your book.

A strong book can still vanish if it is sitting in the wrong category or buried under weak keywords. Metadata is the quiet system underneath your cover that tells stores, search engines, and readers where your book belongs.

This service focuses only on that layer. We tune your categories, keywords, and listing copy so your book has a cleaner sales page and a better chance to be discovered by the readers you had in mind.

What You Receive

Metadata and listing optimization

  • • Audit of your current listing on Amazon KDP or your main platform
  • • Recommended primary and secondary categories that fit your genre
  • • Up to seven optimized keyword phrases for your main marketplace
  • • Refined short hook line that leads the description
  • • Suggested long description written for real readers, not robots
  • • BISAC guidance that supports your category choices
  • • Notes for back of book metadata and series information
  • • Clear checklist of changes to make inside your dashboard

You keep full control of your accounts. We do not log in for you. You apply the changes using the written recommendations.

  • • Your book is already live but not getting the visibility you expected.
  • • You feel lost when choosing categories or keywords on KDP or similar dashboards.
  • • You want help refining the description to speak clearly to your ideal reader.
  • • You are preparing to publish and want your metadata ready before upload.

Not a match if:

  • • You need full book editing or proofreading.
  • • You have not yet chosen a genre or audience for the book.
  • • You want someone to manage your entire publishing or ad accounts.
  • • You expect a guarantee of rank, reviews, or income.

How It Works

Four steps from audit to updated metadata

Step 1

Intake

You send your book link, genre, target readers, and any keywords or categories you have tried before.

Step 2

Audit

We review your current listing, categories, and description, and compare them against your genre space.

Step 3

Recommendations

You receive a written report with recommended categories, keyword phrases, and revised short and long description copy.

Step 4

You update the listing

You apply the changes in your account using the checklist. If anything is unclear, you can follow up once by email for clarification.

Questions

Common questions about metadata work

Do you log in to my KDP or distributor account for me?

No. For security and privacy reasons, we do not log in to client accounts. You apply the updated metadata using the guide we provide.

Will this guarantee higher rank or sales?

No service can promise that. Good metadata gives your book a fairer shot in the right shelves and searches, but results still depend on cover, reviews, pricing, and ongoing marketing.

Can you work with books that are not on Amazon?

Yes. The focus is on one primary marketplace at a time. Amazon KDP is common, but we can discuss Apple Books, Kobo, or others if you publish there instead.

Can you handle multiple books in a series?

Series work is available at a custom rate. Mention the number of titles in your initial message and we will quote a series package.
